Will it still look like them?

Yes. The style is applied to your photo, so the face, expression and pose carry over. Generate a few variations and keep the one that captures them best.

Is it painted by an artist?

No. The portrait is created digitally from your photo in seconds, in the brushwork and colors of the chosen style. You see it right away, can try several styles, and order it printed on archival fine-art paper.

It’s one of the most personal gifts there is: for Mother’s Day, Father’s Day, a birthday, an anniversary or the holidays. Order it framed and it arrives ready to give.

Can I use an old or scanned photo?

Yes, as long as the face is clearly visible. Old prints photographed or scanned on a flat surface work well, and the painting style hides much of the grain and fading.

Creating custom portraits is part of a PicturaLabs plan, starting at $9 a month (€11 in the EU), and you can cancel anytime. Prints are priced separately by size, paper and frame, and you see the price before you order.
